merry catmas!!!!

just wanted to wish every one happy holidays!!! i'm leaving for VA tomorrow morning at the butt crack of dawn and i'll be there till friday. i'm excited, i haven't been there in i think like 6 years? it'll be good to see everyone and my old town again. then when i get back it's off to have brain surgery on jan 8th.... yeah i'm excited. they're gonna shave half my head. yeah! anyways, happy holidays!!!!

hospitals and seizures

so i just got out of the hospital last night, i was admitted around 5am sunday morning. i had a seizure and then i passed out on the bathroom floor so gene called 911. now i have an awesome black eye and some bruises on my shoulder and elbow. apparently i have some blood clot on my brain or im bleeding or something in my head and that lead to the seizure and i'm going to have to have surgery. i'm on meds for epilepsy now and i can't drive. i'm still kind of loopy, i have no memory of what happened and i'm moving really slow. but i'll be better. it happened about 2 hours after we got back from the airport from nyc. thank god it happened here and not in ny. and in that news nyc was awesome. we had so much fun and i wonder if maybe i was just really stressed out and thats what led to the seizure. oh well. i'll keep u posted. happy thanksgiving!!!

grapes!

so for the past 2 weeks i've been drawing grapes... i've been getting a lot of freelance from a lady in nyc and one of the projects she wanted me to work on was a design to be used for throws, table runners, place mats, etc. for i guess a home design company. i hadn't done anything in that style in a long time but i did it and they approved the design. woo hoo! this is the final piece.

now i'm working on another project for her, so my weekends have been busy. but i like it.

free people swap

I finished my book finally for the free people travel swap. i haven't made a book in a while so it's a lil rusty. but over all i like it. the back says "i'm in vacation mode" and the 'i' pealed of a lil but oh well. i'm going to include some photo corners with it so she can put pictures in it. i haven't heard from her ever so i'm hoping it actually gets there...or that i get something back. what?

patterns!

it's been a while. i've been busy as usual. i started making a lot of patterns to use for various things, it's been fun. i like this elephant one.... one of my favorite blogs is print & pattern so i get a lot of inspiration from there. mk that's all for now. tomorrow i'll try to post some pics of the photo book i made for the free people craft swap i'm doing. i'll send it out on saturday after i take the pics.

and yeah on a side note i'm doing some freelance too. for a porn site. in new zealand. yeah. how they found me i have no idea but they want me to do a character for them that like guides people through the website. it's 5 images in all and i just got the last assignment tonight. should be done by this weekend. so i can go out drinking for st. patties day. what?

so yeah.

it's been a while. i've been busy. nothing too exciting. i'm moving to a new apt in down town st pete next month. it's cute and closer to fun stuff. plus i'm a lil sketched out where i am now ever since someone broke into my place new years eve while i was out and stole all my bathing suits, some nightees, and some underwear and some other random crap. so yeah i hate it here now and i'm scared to leave my place at night. my new place will be cute.
