i drew some aminal robots last night. i like them. i should probably go outside more often.

midwest travels

leaving early tomorrow morning with mom to go to my grandparent's house in ohio. i'll be back sometime sunday i guess, just a short trip. it'll be good to get out for a bit. i'm even more of a hermit here than i was in florida it's crazy. but work keeps me busy, i have a constant flow of freelance, i just wish the money was more constant... and i need to find an apt in nyc by summer. ciao ciao!

hello!

so i'm hanging out in VA right now at my parents house. i packed up and moved up here for about a month before heading off to nyc. hopefully will have saved up enough and find an apt by the beginning of june. things are getting busy with the company i've been doing contract work for - art zulu- so i figured now's the time to head up there. i'm going to continue doing other freelance too and will hopefully find more work once i'm up there. haven't had much time to miss florida, at least it's warm up here, plus the day before i drove up here my mom called to say they had to put my cat to sleep, meling.



its sad being here and expecting her grumpy self to be here. the month before i moved we had been talking about how funny it will be when she meets my other cat, elliot, cuz they're both fat, scaredy cats. it was just so sudden since she wasn't even that old. my eyes tear up every time i see her toys laying around still or go into the room she always slept in. it sucks so bad.



on a lighter night i'm trying to make more time for doing side and personal projects. i get so caught up in doing work for other people i never get to do anything for myself. so while i'm here and with nothing really to do i wanna start spending time each day working on some personal pieces.... guess that's all for now!

fashion illustration

been doing a lot of fashion illustration lately. it's pretty fun and i love drawing high fashion styles and girls so it works! i'm also working on a pretty major project right now for a new campaign for some company that is going to combine the styling of custo and miss sixty. i loooove the spring 08 miss sixty looks....and i love jessica stam too!!!

hi! i've been super busy lately. i guess i should say first that i am no longer a full time employee for david & goliath. it was a tough decision but after all that i have been through with the surgery and stuff i don't think it's best for me to go back there full time. i'll still hopefully do contract and freelance work for them tho. i have been concentrating on freelancing full time now and i've been getting a lot of work. i've been working steadily for a company called art zulu out of nyc for the past few months and it's been great. i've been doing everything from logos and label designs to sleepwear and more recently a high end couture line for a client i probably cant mention but it's pretty exciting! i also hope to move to nyc in the next few months if all goes well...at least there it won't be as big a deal not being able to drive...

i've also been working on a children's book for a lady out of LA and have jsut been offered 3 more books! once again i have to keep the details vague but here are a few sneak peaks!: (it's a very diva/glam children's book)

hello! I did some cupcake designs for a new cupcake store opening up in sarasota called cupcakes a go-go and wanted to share! i'm a big fan of cupcakes so this was a fun project. hope you likey!

tote bags!!!

i was out and about in st. pete yesterday (walking of course, still not aloud to drive and i am supposed to go for a walk everyday...i usually don't) and i went into one of my favorite lil boutiques and low and behold they had some tote bags i designed! i snapped a few (blurry) photos with my phone and wanted to share!





they're cute! u can purchase them (i think) on david & goliath's website- ugh, still the ugliest web site ever but i've given up complaining about it. it looks like a big lots flier half the time... ah well. enjoy!

new work!!!!

Hi!!! since i have some time off recovering from my surgery (which went well by the way, i just have a narly scar now that's pretty sore as well as half my face still not having much feeling other than hurting from time to time...) so i decided to work on some personal projects lil by lil to keep the creative juices flowing. i've been doing patterns for hazlenut studios a lot so i posted some of the valentine's ones i have done. i'm also trying to work on getting some stuff up into my etsy store. i'm going to make some cute lil valentine cards and prints for people to buy and share with their special someone ;) hopefully it will all go well! i can only work about an hour at a time for right now till i get more energy back and stop with the constant headaches that never go away.... hope everyone is well!!!!
